My Rates and Appointment Schedule
Rates:
For legal consultations, I charge $375 per hour and bill by the 1/10th of an hour. For example, if we meet for 1 hour and 25 minutes, I would charge for a 1.4 consultation, or $525. I ordinarily have a 1-hour minimum. If you have need and unusual financial circumstances, ask me about a reduced rate.
When I mediate, I charge $375 per hour. Usually each party is responsible for half the cost. Occasionally I will agree to undertake limited representation of a client, but only non-litigation work; for example, to negotiate a prenuptial agreement or undertake an appeal. For this work, which is more extensive than consultation, I charge $425 per hour. The retainer will depend upon the case.
Payment is due at the time of service.

I will schedule appointments at our mutual convenience. Early mornings, evenings and weekends can be accommodated. My phone number is (907) 346-2894. I will always try to see you soon, but I do have other commitments and do not call me if you have an urgent emergency. (Consider if
you should be calling the police or a shelter.)
